Happy Holidays!
Happy Holidays! I hope you had a lovely Christmas. This blog is super short because I want us all to enjoy the break between Christmas and New Years.
One of my favorite things about Christmas is… wait for it… eggnog! Why? Let me tell you a story. This story is part of family lore and it goes something like this.
I was born on December 30 in upstate New York, in a small town called Corning. According to the story, on the 29th there was a big snow storm and my Mum really didn’t want my Dad to drive her to the hospital. Instead, she asked for big glass of eggnog with a dash of rum, which promptly put her to sleep. Better rested the next day, with the snow storm abated, they got in the station wagon and traveled safely to the hospital. I was very happy to arrive into the world several hours later. Ever since, I’ve loved eggnog myself and it’s a part of the holidays that I treasure each year. To heck with all the calories, right?
Do you have a fun Christmas story or tradition? Please share it with me and my #annesuniverse creative community. We’d love to hear it.
I won’t be live on Wednesday for the next two weeks. I’ll be back for my next broadcast on January 10 at noon pacific / 3pm eastern on my Facebook business page: Anne LaFollette Art or on my YouTube channel.

Hi…I’m Anne!
My creative inspiration comes from a lifetime of observation. I grew up in Paris on the Place St. Sulpice and walked to school through the Luxembourg gardens. And that was only the beginning… Learn more by watching the video on my About page.
